Ideal Prepaid, a member of the Holistic Technologies group, is a technology company specialising in payment processing. We have developed numerous products and currently have over 100 000 devices around the world including South Africa, India, Isreal and Canada processing more than a million transactions a day.
We offer a customisable metering solution with a payment platform. Meters can be installed for electricity, gas and water to assist in administration and tariff maintenance. The meter is installed as a secondary meter at the main distribution board of the premises and does not interfere with or impair the functionality of the primary meter in a sub-metering environment. In a municipal environment we replace the existing meters or install new meters.

Ideal Prepaid is not limited by the hardware as we are not a manufacturer and have supplier agreements with numerous South African and international companies, with many of these manufacturing to our specifications.

HOW IT WORKS

Our meters are installed as a secondary meter inside the dwelling, at the main distribution board. The meter does not interfere or impair the primary meter.

Our meters come with a 1 year warranty and our service team is on standby 365 days a year, 7 days a week, from 7am to 10pm.

TOKEN PURCHASE

The meter keypad has a special security encryption. When a resident purchases prepaid electricity, we generate a token

based on a given tariff rate.
